\n> Hey Ronny

\n> remember back in the 80's when guitarists had racks, bigger than the sound

\nYeah, I remember those days. When I was 18, you had to have a wall of sound, I played mono through
\n16 12" speakers. Fuck all that toting Wiz. Now I play stereo through 4 12's, two on either side of
\nthe stage and run RP2000 pedal board into the V for stereo send to monitors and mains. No bleed from
\nother instruments when running direct and clarity is increased at FOH, when you can eliminate most
\nof the ambience. Gating the vocal and drum mics, puts the icing on the cake in the clarity
\ndepartment going to FOH,, monitors or recorder. Just have to be more conservative with the gates in
\na live situation, don't want to set threshold too high on the voc channels or the vocalists will die
\nwhen they occasionally back off the mics.
