Is that it. They have Toslink to Toslink adapters and the pc mount
transmitter and receiver. I don't think I've ever seen anything that fits in
an XLR.

I want to build an I/O panel for my rack that contains the preamps,
but cannot find any panel mount toslink connectors. I have seen
these once before but cannot remember where. The ones I saw would
fit in an xlr size hole and where basically a panel mount coupler.
