SPdif, however they make opt to rca \n converters like the Fostex COP
and also the ADAT interface on the MY8-AT \n or MY16-AT will transfer
96k in dual channel mode. The way this works is \n ADAT and most of the
common digi transfer formats, with the exception of \n single wire AES,
max out at 48k, so to send 96k signals it splits the \n samples so that
sample number one exits one opt channel and the next exits \n the
adjacent channel, than it alternates all of the samples for the \n
length of the audio. You'll get 96k on two tracks in a typical 96k \n
recorder, when going ADAT, SPdif or Tdif at 96k. This isn't a limit
of \n the v96 as it will operate all 40 channels at 96k and also input
the annie \n signal via all of the AD's at 96k, but a limit of the
tranfer format that \n you are exiting the board with.
Hi Ronny,
Thanks for the \n detailed answer.
My soundcard also has RCA coax digital inputs so \n hopefully I can
record 24/96 directly from the v96 outputs. I'm going to \n check the
manuals for it now.
Best \n Regards,
David
