Hello
In the DI0/setup prefer 1 page be sure to have \n the Store and recall
confirmation boxes checked on. This could keep you \n from storing or
recalling something you may not want live.
Of \n course be sure to take the effects out of omni 1-4 if you are
using them \n for monitor sends. I routed aux 5-8 to them prefade.
Also make sure \n you spend a few practices with the v getting used to
the layout and \n setting rough gains and gates , compressors, eq's etc
as needed.
With \n that done you can establish unity gain at home later.
Been using mine \n live for some time now and have been very happy with \n
it.\nThat's what I was going to say. Rehearse the band "first" before you \n use the board for a live gig. That way you get everyone's mics eq'd and \n effected, whatever you want to, save that as say Practice 01 scene. Than when \n you play the first venue with the board, you can use it as a starting point. \n If you aren't comfortable at the end of the rehearsal, use the board at the \n next rehearsal. When I bought my first digi console, I rehearsed with it for \n about a month, before I used it live, because the shift from annie to digi was \n a learning experience for me. I even carried my annie board to the first few \n digi console gigs, just in case something went wrong. Be sure to save \n your scene at the end of each venue, so you can use those scenes when or if \n you return to that gig.\n\nGood luck and enjoy your new toy.\n\nKeep On Trackin'\n\n------Ronny Morris - Digitak Mastering------\n
