Hi Dean,
Be \n very welcome to Brazil!
Yes, I'm from Rio (although I'm in Sao Paulo \n right now which is 40
min flight from Rio).
I think you're going to \n enjoy Rio. Beautiful place.
Please let me know if you need any \n assistance in Brazil, ok?\n\nEdmardo,\nMy brothers wife and her \n family are from Recife. He had a computer store branch there not \n long ago, but is now in Angola also a Portuguese speaking nation, opening up a \n branch there. There are more people with computers and i-net connections on \n the island of Manhattan than there are on the whole continent of Africa. \n He's there to do some ground breaking. His company is based out of Miami and \n is called Technolinc, Inc. He's brought my father and mother and several of \n the nephews down to Brazil and they all love it. Maybe I'll go next time. \n\n\nOn the 01v96 \n purchase. I wouldn't worry about buying a Version 1 and upgrading it. It's \n really no problem and also Sweetwater is one of the higher priced outlets in \n the US. There are many cheaper, but not all will ship overseas. You may save a \n few hundred dollars by shopping around. In Sweetwaters favor, I will say that \n they have some very knowledgable people on their sales staff, most with \n engineering or musician backgrounds and assign a sales rep to each customer, \n so that they they get know you and your gear. It's beneficial for some people \n to pay the little extra to have this relationship. Sweetwater also has an on \n sight Yammy tech and does their own repair work, which is a plus if you buy \n Yam gear from them. You can deal with your one sales rep for any repair \n returns and not have to send to Yammy in Buena Vista, like most outlets will \n have you do. So again price and service are two factors that you may want to \n weigh, being from overseas.\n\nEnjoy your new v96 when you \n purchase it.\n\nKeep On \n Trackin'\n\n------Ronny Morris - Digitak \n Mastering------\n
