\n\n----- Original Message -----\nFrom: \n TB-AV\n \nSent: Sunday, September 28, 2003 10:02 \n PM\nSubject: Re: [01v96] Re: S/P-DIF input \n sync?\n\nIn the note below the graphic it states that if \n you have\n\n1. no card\n2. another type card ( non \nMY8-AE96S)\n\nthen the buttons in the SRC sections are \n disabled.\n\nI read all of that as the s/pdif rate conversion \n only being enabled upon use of a 96S i/o card.\n\nPerhaps there is something on that card the \n s/pdif needs.\n\n\n\nHard to figure this one out Tom. I'm baffled why you \n would need an 8 channel AES card to use the SRC's. I was under the impression \n that the SRC's were on board. Maybe not, I can't find them. I tried hooking up \n double speed through the 9652 via SPdif and couldn't get it to work. I seem to \n remember Matthias saying that the SPdif would go 96, so I guess it's on the \n mixer side. Ok, just checked the block diagram and didn't see any. So if \n you want to SRC a digi in at 44.1, you have to have a 96 card. Hm-m-m, that \n just doesn't compute for some reason. :O)\n\nKeep On Trackin'\n\nRonny Morris - Digitak Mastering\n
