\n\n----- Original Message -----\nFrom: \n TB-AV\n \nSent: Friday, October 03, 2003 6:15 \n PM\nSubject: Re: [01v96] Safe Recall \n NOT!\n\nHave you got Global Recall Safe \n checked?\n\nI just reading the manual but it seems like if \n that is checked it would cause your problem.\n\nAs I read the manual it appears that among other \n things.\n\nYou need to store <Safe> params. within a \n <Scene>. Then you would need to <uncheck> Global \n recall.\n\nI'll be honest with you. That's a complicated \n read. It reminds me of granting rights to users and directories in Novel \n Netware.\n\nLooks like a powerful feature \nthough.\n\nSo to me it looks like.\nUncheck Global\nChoose Mode parameters you want.\nChoose Channels to remain \nunaffected.\nSave Scene and thus safe recall \ndata.\nSwitch to new Scene\n\nOh, also the SAFE button has to be on as that \n <enables> safe recall.\n\n\nYep, I got it going right after I posted that, but \n you hit the nail on the head, I forgot to store the scene with the \n new safe recall param's. You can do the same thing on the 01v, Tom \n by going to MEMORY page 4, but it had been so long since I used that feature \n that I forgot about the Store. I don't remember seeing it say Store on page \n 168 of the new manual. Merely highligting the channels you want safe and \n enabling the Safe Recall feature, does nothing when changing scenes until \n you Store the scene with the safe channels highlighted. It'd be better if it \n just did it as you enabled the channels and changed scenes, because you have \n to go back to Safe Recall, undo the channels and store that again, if you \n want to change total scenes again. I think, anyway I'll confirm that when I go \n back to the mixer.\n\nThanks man.\n\nKeep On Trackin'\n\nRonny Morris - Digitak Mastering\n
