just received. I have read the posts on the skb. I \n personally am old
fashioned and don't like to mix vertically, so I prefer \n something a
little flatter. I did see Gator's console racks and this looks \n good
because the digimax lt could stay connected to the console. As \n
things stand now I will be doing mostly live recording with an hd24
or \n d2424. After tracking a show I need to be able to pull the
console up to \n the computer to tie into nuendo. I have also found a
ATA case on ebay \n here

The \n latches on that case bother me a little. The thing about the
Gator console \n rack is that I wouldn't be able to set the console on
a desk and put my \n legs under it. I guess I could put it on a wooden
box or something next to \n the desk to make it the same height. I do
like the fact that the digimax \n lt would be in the same rack.
On another note what are you guys using \n for optical cables. I have a
bunch of 10' Hosa toslink to toslink that I \n got for about ten bucks
a pop. The thing I don't like about them is that \n they are hard to
plug and unplug. I have a friend that has one of the \n heavier gold
series cables from Radio Shack that feels alot better and is \n easier
to patch, but it cost about forty bucks a piece. Come to think of \n it
I don't know if the larger connectors would all fit into the 9652 \n
HDSP sound card. Let me know what your thoughts and experiences are \n
with the case and the cables as well as any vendors you have had
good \n luck with. Thanks, Nicolas
