4:57 AM 7/2/03 Studio Manager Library File Exchange Tests First make sure that your master button is off. These settings are radical, to quickly notice a change on the graphs and aren't meant to be used. Don't want to have music playing on the channel when you load in the EQ Test 01 Library. Open Studio Manager>Select A Channel>Hit C+1 on keyboard (Selected Channel Page will display)>Click on Comp Library>The left pane is the transfer and save pane>at the top click Open>Browse to the folder that you saved Comp Test 01 in (only the comp files D2Y extensions will be visible)>Highlight it in the browser window and hit open>it will now show at the top of the save pane, Comp Test 01>at this time there will only be clear and undo on the far right, you must click and drag the Comp Test 01 file from the left pane to the right pane, where the factory pre-set library is and as you move up or down you will see the arrow on the left of that pane toggle between slots>*move down to an open NON-DATA SLOT* and release the mouse>you must click and highlight it again once it is seated in the right window pane for the recall and store buttons to again show>click on Recall>Comp graph should show a -54dB threshold with soft knee and infinity ratio. *Warning*. Make sure that when you drag any pre-set to the right window pane, that you move to a *non data slot*. If you drop it on top of one of your user pre-sets it may be over written. Follow these instructions with each respective library. EQ Library, Gate Library, Comp Library and Channel Library all can be accessed from the Selected Channel Page. Mix Scenes Hit Ctrl + 2 or Click on Windows>Library. Selected Channel page can also be accessed Windows>Selected Channel. Sessions can be recalled by Clicking on File Open Session. For this test, I recommend that you put all Lib files into one folder, each library will only see their respective files. The Channel Library File will contain the same settings as each individul Selected Channel processor test. Load in the Comp, Eq, Gate Lib's first and than select another channel when you try the Channel Library test otherwise the same curves will appear on the graphs. The scene test should give you the 01v96 Smiley Face Faders on 1-16. The Selected Channel jpeg picture shows what each processor graph should look like "and" what the Channel Library Scene should look like, if you have loaded in the Lib files correctly. File extensions are: Channel Library Files .D2H Compressor Library Files .D2Y EQ LIbrary Files .D2Q Gate Library Files .D2G Scene Library Files .D2M Session Files .01X Have fun!
