The eeproms can be had at Mouser \nelectronics.
\n
M24C16WP is there part number.
\n
For some reason I had to program them twice \n
\n
when I installed them, but they work fine \nnow...

Subject: [GE-Mpa] mvs off topic \n question.

\n

I realize that this is a GE/ Ericson HT list, but \n sometimes you

\n

get lucky.  The regular GE list hasn’t responded \n to this question,

\n

so I thought I would take a shot here.  If anyone \n knows, I would

\n

appreciate a heads up.

\n

\n

In several of my 128 channel MVS radios the buttons \n work
intermittently. Push a button and it doesn't work. Push it ten or \n
20 times and suddenly it works. I don't know if it is a front \n panel

\n

problem or if there is another problem. I've \n disassembled the
buttons and cleaned the parts with alcohol thinking that \n it might be
a dirt behind the buttons problem with no \n improvement.

\n

\n

The buttons themselves look the same on the inside as \n those on

\n

The top of an MP-D.  How do they work? Can they \n be cleaned/fixed?

Anybody have an idea on this one.

Also, I am \n looking for the eeproms for 128 channel. Does anyone have
a source or a \n regular normal part number for these?

Thanks

\n
