\n\n\n \n\n \nOk, use the maintenance program to set the radio type to the proper\nsplit and put reasonable values into the tracking data.  If you need\nsome reasonable values, read another radio and use them.
\n
\nPlease use EDACS1 to Write a valid personality after setting some kind\nof values for the tracking data.
\n
\nWhen you write tracking data to a radio, it messes up the personality\nand so, the process is to write tracking data, then write a\npersonality, then you have a proper set of data loaded to test the\nradio with.
\n
\nRemember - 1st step is to use EDACS1 maintenance exe to set the radio\ntype...
\n
\nthen write some reasonable tracking data,
\n
\nthen write a personality, with with the maintenance program (F3-REC TRK\nwill write a series of test freq's to use a service monitor to actually\ntrack the radio) or with a test personality you make up, depending upon\nthe correspondence between your desired operating range and the ones\nprovided for in the  EDACS1 software.

I could not read it with EDACS1, so I read it with ProGrammer
\nVerR16. It read fine and believe it or not, had 900MHz channels
\nprogrammed into it! I deleted all that junk, so there was nothing
\nleft, and reprogrammed it with freqs in the 492-512 bandsplit. I
\nconfirmed that bandsplit in RadioMaint. After programming in tow
\nzones of channels, I reprogrammed the radio. Now the channels show
\nup but alternate with NO LOCK and still that darn beeping.
\n
\nI went into RadioMaint and read the tracking data. It's all 0's!
\nWhat now?
