There are 2 sets of button mapping one is for conventional MPA’s\nand the other for EDACS.. I am guessing you are using the wrong software by the\nsounds of it having different buttons than you are used to….

There are many sets of firmware for the logic boards… but EDACS\nrequired EDACS MPA settings and Conventional requires conventional MPA sw ..

Also,this radio has the different button scheme\nfor the scan buttons. All my other ones have a step button and this one has a\nmenu button. I thought I could reassign the functions to match my other radios\nwith the step buttons through the programming. Can I do that?
