Well if it says PGM mode it is DOS MPA Conventional  sw to talk to it…

 

Are you running in a DOS environment?   Are you using a USB converter or such in Windows??? Those things would probably stop it from working.

Thanks to Phil, I have softwarea and an RG guys 33948 programming cable. Unfortuantly, the radio stays in "PGM MODE" and neither the dos version 12.0 or ProGrammer seem to be able to communicate with them. Iv'e been perusing the posts, but i have not been able to find a fix. Also, is there a Programming manual for either software??
