\n\n-----Original Message-----I've tuned and \n programmed probably a dozen VHF-110w SX radios, and never had much luck \n getting anything more than 10 Mhz of bandspread out of them.

Tune for \n 144 and 154 is about it before the VCO unlocks.
These are "Wideband" \n units and maybe there's some Bits you can set in the X and Z parameters, but I \n never had enough luck figuring them out.
Good luck!

Can anyone tell me about how wide the bandwidth is on a delta \n vhf band
split of 150 - 174 Mhz?? More specifically, can channel \n assignments
be made at both ends of the range and work properly, with no \n retuning
of either the VCO's or RX front end?
The reason I'm \n asking is that several years ago I converted a Narrow
Band Delta SX (it \n has helical filters) to frequency agile use from 144
to 148 Mhz. While \n it worked very well on 2 meters with superb
intermod rejection, I wanted \n to be able to use it to listen to other
150 Mhz frequencies as one would \n use a scanner. However, this was
impossible because of the narrow banded \n nature of the radio.
I have converted Phoenixes, SyntorX's and MVS \n radios and found them to
be relatively broad banded (especially the \n Phoenix VHF version). Can
the same be said for the Delta VHF Wide Band \n version??
