\nHello to all,
I'm curious if anyone in the group has used the "S990 Prog" "firmware"
with a Low Band Ranger. I have converted several of the S990 Control
heads to use with VHF Delta radios...Worked fine. I understand that
the 990 head & S-Prog "firmware" will work with a Ranger, but I'm
curious about how to make it work on 6 Meters.
I believe the instructions mentioned "subtracting the I.F. freq" from
the UHF models to enter the RX freq, and enter the TX as normal... but
I would like to know if anyone has tried this on a Low Band radio, and
if it worked, or what may need to be done to accomplish this (if even
possible).
Thanks in advance for any input,
Carl
