Hi,
I just acquired a XTS-3000 thru some bartering. A little battery
work and plastic surgery and everything seems to work, but know comes
the hard part. This is the XTS-3000 with the display and numeric
keypad.
Finding a manual and knowing the capabilities has been near
impossible. What is the exact function of the keypad? Can you
manually program the unit for frequencies via
the keypad, kinda like a digital scanner or wildland fire radio in
which you may need a new frequency when working with muliple
juridictions? We use HT-1000 and 1500 radios in our volunteer fire
department and I'd like to set this up similarly. \n
These may be open ended and/or easy questions, but any little
direction would help the search and setup. I keep reading about
requires keys and software, any links to some required reading.
Thanks. - Brad
