\n Subject: [Pro-97] LTR trunking for Dothan,AL
\n
\n
\n Since posting several messages weeks ago, I've been experimenting with the
\n local Public Safety system which uses LTR Multi Net. From what I gather
\nit
\n is a Multi Net system and not the older version.
\n
\n I am still unable to figure out the repeater assignments.
\n
\n According to "Police Call" and "Radioreference" the frequencies used are
\n856
\n thru 860, .43750 and .93750, a total of ten frequencies.
\n
\n Listed below is a sample of what I picked up last night on 856.43750:
\n
\n 0-15-086 R21
\n 1-01-236 R02
\n 0-05-110 R12
\n 0-08-162 R29
\n 0-21-102 R06
\n 0-12-104 R18
\n 0-12-152 R29
\n 0-24-086 R16
\n 0-22-148 R18
\n 0-19-066 R08
\n 1-03-093 R12
\n
\n With all of the above I hear virtually no voice traffic. It seems that
\nwhen
\n I do hear voice traffic, no LTR information is displayed. I have the bank
\n open, LTR as the mode, and watch it in manual mode.
\n
\n I am located about 12 - 15 miles from the tower, well outside the city
\n limits, so that might be part of my problem.
\n
\n What else can I do to try and figure out the local system, or is it really
\na
\n LOT of trial and error? Any help on figuring this out would be greatly
\n appreciated. I have some other LTR codes on the other frequencies I can
\n share if it helps, but this one came up with the most.

\n
\n
\n
\n If it really is a MultiNet system, the PRO-97 won't track it. In fact, no
\nscanner made can track an LTR MultiTrack system. The best you can do would
\nbe to scan it in conventional mode.
