In order to use ADSL with my 3COM ADSL modem (not a router)\nin the UK I need to use PPPoE in the Network/Internet page of the standard\nToshiba web admin “site” yet despite my having entered my relevant\ndetails MANY times they won’t stick. It was working fine until earlier\nthis evening when I lost my internet connection. I can connect to the Magnia\nbut not out of the house.

I tick the box marked PPPoE and enter my logon id and\npassword (BT ADSL) and it goes away to think about applying the settings (why is\nthe admin interface so damn slow?) but then if I go back to check, my details\nhaven’t stuck.

Checked the modem. It appears to be connected to the line,\njust not the service (needs logon details).

So I rebooted… now the LCD only says WORKING…

Should I press one of the reset buttons on the back panel?\nWhich one does what? There appears to be 2. Can I just reset without losing any\nsettings?
